Exterior stairs for multifamily and commercial buildings are typically hot-dip galvanized. Interior feature stairs get the finish the architecture calls for.
Egress, monumental and industrial
Egress stairs are detailed to IBC rise, run, headroom and guard requirements, with pan or grating treads. Industrial stairs use bar grating for slip resistance in plants, mezzanines and warehouses.
Monumental stairs are the ones people notice — we take them from 3D coordination through final field welding and touch-up.
